We are looking for a highly motivated person to manage our care provision within Perth & Kinross.

This position will offer the right candidate the opportunity to deliver continued growth of a client-focused care business of the highest quality. The role is therefore perfect for an experienced Care Manager who is happy and able to work on their own and as part of the Management Team.

This is an excellent and exciting opportunity for a forward-thinking and commercially minded person seeking a new and exciting leadership role within the care sector.

As a dedicated and confident individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills, you will play a significant and valued role working alongside our Service Manager to further grow and develop the business.

You will be required to manage and support a team of 4 Coordinators, as well as providing the team with advice on more complex casework. You will also share responsibility for the recruitment, training, and development of new care staff. When appropriate you will take on temporary direct management of clients and/or care staff for whom a higher level of expertise/intervention is required.

As well as being qualified to at least minimum SVQ Level 4 in Social Care, previous experience of working with and being able to engage directly with team members, management, external agencies, and stakeholders as well as our clients and their families would be advantageous.

You will be able to demonstrate a passion for change and playing a key role in the continuous development and growth of the organisation.

Qualifications Required:

  • Qualified to at least minimum SVQ Level 4 in Social Care.
  • Previous experience of managing people.
  • Have a sound working knowledge of working within the required standards of the Care Inspectorate and the SSSC Codes of Practice.
  • Excellent organisational and written skills.
