Crossroads delivers high-quality support and care services throughout Perth and Kinross. Our overarching objective is to provide respite care to our wide variety of clients, including elderly, children, severe disabilities, patients in Palliative Care (in the final stages of life), and people with additional support needs to support them to live full and independent lives.
We respect the uniqueness and worth of the people we support, recognising that their views, wishes, and participation are to key to planning and delivering quality services.
We are committed to ensuring that our staff have the necessary skills, qualifications and support which meet National Care Standards.
We are looking for upbeat, confident, and energetic people who have the desire to want to support people to have the best life possible. You will provide support for personal care and participation in a range of activities, so energy and initiative is vital and you will develop an open and sensitive communication with supported client, family/friends and other professionals, providing relevant communication support, where appropriate.
You will be committed to encouraging the right of our clients to be consulted about all areas of their life and to assist them to make informed choices and decisions.
You will work in a professional manner, meeting National Care Standards, setting appropriate boundaries, and treating work as confidential.
You must be flexible in your approach to work and it is essential you are able to work shifts. At present we have a variety of support that we provide which includes weekend working, evenings, sleepovers and waking nights.
If this sounds like you and you possess the energy and drive to be part of a successful charitable organisation like Crossroads, then we are keen to hear from you.
